can't close tape door on DCR-IP55

sm1 help i hv sony dcr-ip55 camcorder and after i accidently eject the tape and there was no tape inside and the door would close but the this time i found trouble to close the tape door canot push down n close it and no response to all and the error code always sound n blink in the lcd C32:11 any 1 can help me plsssss!!!!!!

i hv a sony camcorder DCR-IP55 now the problem is error 32:11 symbol and it flashes eject but after eject canot close the cassett door and no response at all so i try all the way in this forum but none of it can fix my problem how???? any 1 can help pls??

Hi Shirley,

At first I couldn't get the tape out and followed the instructions to remove the battery, keep the cassette compartment open, and reinstall the battery. Well that worked fine. Now I have the same problem as you do. The cassette compartment won't close no matter what I do. Has anyone responded back to you yet? Let me know if you were able to solve the problem.
