connecting bite switch to Sony HDR-CX7

sir,

i have been told you might be able to help me.

i recently bought a camera helmet for sky diving.it has a bite switch fitted.

the problem i have is the bite switch supports the 25mm plug which my camera does not support. it is the sony cx7 camera. i ve been told by cookie composites that i can get an adapter for the bite switch but they weren t sure so directed me to you.

i would be extremely grateful of any help you can through my way.
