tape stuck in DCR-PC100

Hi I have a Sony DCR-PC100 sony camcorder. Tape has been stuck forever. It's the second time it happens, when the tape gets to the end you can't get it out anymore. Last time the repair cost me more than $400 this time I am not willing to take it to Sony unless they do it for free. It happens every so often. I tried smacking it, placing it in the refrigerator most of the things I have read online to no avail.
The casette is pushed up but not on the side, therefore out. It makes a funny noise when the tape is pushed up and back in, like a whistling sound. Could this be related to an oiling issue. Should I oil it and if so what kind of oil should I buy and where should it be placed?
Thank you
