I think the Windows Paint prog works great, for copying from computer to camera. I have this Sony HDR-PJ50E which has projection system. First open the jpeg image in paint and resize if you want to, and save it back. The image can be copied to a memory card using a card reader. Once back on camera the image shows up properly. If it is not resized then you will see a miniature thumbnail.
