Install Xirlink XVP500/525 on Windows XP

I have a question. Is there a way to install an older
xirlink xvp500/525 web cam on wondows XP? I can get the software to download but the camera won't install? I downloaded the driver xp ask for and it did install the driver but when it says "installing new hardware" It gives
me another message saying the camera is not upgradable?
Someone please advise. Thank you , TOM
