Microsoft WebCam Doesn't Work with Windows 7

I have the same problem with my ibm pc camera, I bought a new microsoft web cam and it worked on Vista fine. but then I installed Windows 7 and it won't work on it, get the message camera not connected. I don't think Microsoft even likes their own web cams, Ran a compatability check and it came back incompatable. I give up

I have the same problem. Got windows 7 on VGN-FZ140E and don't know how to get camera working.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let us know.
