driver for Gigaware VGA PC Camera

kindly send me the software for installing my webcam 25-157 from gegaware..i had the cd..i prvsly installed it but nw i have lost the cd..kindly help..i really need webcam..thanks

Hi all, I found 2 drivers.

My driver is Gigaware VGA PC Camera (Original Drivers for Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP (11.9 MB)). Here's the link.
Gigaware® VGA PC Camera Product support

The other is for the Gigaware VGA 1.3MP PC Camera.
Gigaware® 1.3MP PC Camera Product support

Also, cristen - Radioshack listing for Cam 1.3MP (megapixel) does not include a driver according to the website. So I see your problem. The only thing that comes bundled with it is Arcosoft Impression 2.0. But AI2.0 doesn't bundle the driver. Wierd - cam, no driver. I know that's not your cam, but it's an example of the precendent you mentioned.

If your cam is different than mine, go ahead and try the driver anyway. If the Pixel capability is the same, you may get it working.

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?parentPage=searc . . . - This link should provide you with the driver(s) that you need! It is directly from RadioShack. Unfortunately, it does not come with the ArcSoft software that is bundled with the camera. At least you get to get the camera to work. Make sure you install it without the camera plugged in first. Then after the driver is installed, plug in the camera.

Hi All,
Thank you to 'gotgoodgame!' I had problems installing this webcam on my XP laptop but his driver for the VGA model worked just fine BUT one thing is immportant to remember-install the drivers first and only then plug in the camera otherwise I found it wouldn't work. Hope that was helpful!

usually on radioshack if you type just the model number in the keyword/search box it comes up with the software. for example i typed in my model number, 25-234, and 2 different software's came up. one for vista/XP and the other for another type of system.

f u need help with finding the gigaware drivers for the VGA web cam 25-157,then this will take you the like zip file that i created, what i did was copy the files off of the cd and created a zip folder with the original driver for it.

step 1

click on the link that will take you the Zshare to download the zip,make sure it down loads to you desktop.

(copy and paste the link in your search bar)

step 2

Right click on the zip file that is on the desk top named Gigaware VGA Camera 25-157.zip and left like in the menu that pop up and left click on unzip or open.

Step 3

After opening or unziping the file you should see a icon the folder that says setup, clik on that and the rest is easy have any question the e-mail me at subzro21@yahoo.com
