Remove Read-Only Protection on microSD Card

I bought a MicroSD card with movies preloaded on it. The card itself is labeled READ ONLY. Is there any way to remove this read only protection so I can use the card for something more important than Mission Impossible? I hate the movie, don't want it.... waste of a card. I tried deleting the partition. No luck...
