microSDHC to Memory Stick Pro Duo Converter

Recently I bought a "MicroSD to Memory Stick Pro Duo Adapter (SDHC compatible)"...
but it doesn't work on my new DCR-SX30 sony handcamera:
tha camera always alert me that it may not be possible to correctly write on the support

Notice that it actually write photos and movies! but the message (with 3 beep) it's very annoying and makes the camera quite unusable.

I've tried all the combination: format the microSD alone, format the Memory Stick together the microSD.... but anything changes

Maybe Sony on new products have a trick to discover "simulated" memory stick pro?

Can i insert regular microSD card( not micro SDHC)in this adapter? Will it work well?

Yes. You can insert a regular micoSD Card into a microSDHC Card adapter. It will work.

The hilarious bit: they advertise that they support 2TB x2, which is only now available (well... microSDXC - pretty sure that wouldn't work!)
