It is quite easy to add dynamic special effects to your still photograph. We will show you how to do it step-by-step with Windows Live Movie Maker in this article.
Microsoft Windows Live Movie Maker has been discontinued in 2017 during the Windows 10 era. It is designed for Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10. But we have installed it on our Windows 11 laptop computer and it works just fine. Microsoft distributes it for free prior to the discontinuation. Luckily, you can still download a copy from Major Geeks (see "Related Links" below).
Before we get started, let's talk about a few limitations with Movie Maker.
The latest Movie Maker version ended with 1080p HD videos as the highest quality export. You won't be able to produce 4K UHD videos with it.
